Karl Lagerfeld is opening its flagship store in London on March 14. Hurray!
The Karl Lagerfeld label is more reasonably priced and targets a younger shopper than the designer’s other endeavors — Fendi and Chanel. The store aims to fuse fashion, shopping, and technology in a unique way. Changing rooms masquerade as photo booths with built-in touch screens allowing shoppers to take snaps of their outfits and apply filters to them before sharing on their social-media channels. The black and white interior is a minimalist’s dream and they include a separate section for Choupette merchandise, and line drawings of Lagerfeld’s silhouette are accented in the decor.
