Google Glasses are now high fashion thanks to Diane von Furstenberg. The glasses are available for purchase in the States. Earlier this month, Google announced a partnership with the designer to launch a range of headsets through DVF. The line, known as DVF | Made for Glass, is the first of its kind, and includes five new frames and eight chic shades.
After enduring mockery for the general Glass aesthetic, Google has gone to great lengths to make the headset more fashionable. In January, the company launched its in-house Titanium collection, a more stylish cousin of the original design. Regardless of the design, Glass is still very wearable for your face, and it still hasn’t quite escaped its inherent awkwardness. But, the high price aside, designing with fashion in mind helps push more to the masses.
